Growlette from Winooski Beverage. This was poured into an English pint glass. The appearance was a dark hazy burnt orange color with a quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. No lacing. The aroma is all around a ton of berries - elder, black, rasp, blue, yeah, you name it, I think they put it all in. Tart with a nice authentic sweetness. The flavor takes on all of the tart and the sweet with the berries coming all about authentically. Balances the tart to the sweet nicely in the aftertaste. Leads refreshingly in the finish. On the palate, this one sat light on the body with a crushability worthy of slamming an entire 64 oz growler perhaps within an hour. Yes, there’s practically no weight to this beer. Overall, damn nice fruit beer, hell yeah, I would have this again.
