16oz can purchased at the brewery. 4.8% German-style Helles Lager.
Bright, clear golden body and a thin, white, foamy lace that doesn't last as long as I'd like. A bit green and estery in the nose with some grain. Very smooth and round with an underlying crispiness. Bready with some toasty malt, an out of place fruitiness, and a light smack of lemony hops. Dry, cereal grain finish.
Not as clean and nuanced as a traditional Helles. Drinks more like an ale is many ways. Not bad. Just not what I expect from a Helles.

This one is borderline. It’s like some French dude (because they all are) on a trapeze wire. It’s like, oh, wowie, will the guy fall? And then Raul takes another sip... This shit is... It’s maybe ok if you are high AF, but so is Denny’s at six AM. To hell with the syrup in this beer.
I’m gone.
