On tap at Brewyard Beer Company in Glendale, CA.
Pours a hazy dark orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, caramel, nut, and earthy hop aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, caramel, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an earthy hop presence that is more intense in the taste to me.
