Pours a slightly unfiltered pale straw color with a sudsy white head that sizzles a bit. Beautiful witbier.
The nose features orange blossom, lemon zest, and fruity esters, especially pear, courtesy of the Westmalle yeast.
The orange blossom and lemon zest are forward on the taste, with the fruity esters following and providing balance and a nice zing.
The mouthfeel is light and bright, on point for the beer. This is really well done, IMHO.

i liked this a lot, its way ahead of the american made belgian takes, and i think its quite authentic, real drinkable too, refreshing, the yeast is not generic, which is the most important part, and its masterfully deployed, this is estery and distinctive there, but not phenolic or monotone, among the best airport beers ive had in a long time, maybe ever. golden in color, lightly hazy, high white headed, looks the part in their tulip glasses. the nose here is old school belgian, wheaty but light still, mineral forward and clean, subtle green pear, white wine, and white pepper, maybe a little coriander too but less toasted to me than is common, citrus is bright, this is herbal and vinous and classy and quick for the style, still smells robust even when its cold. the flavor is nice too, wheaty all the way, yeast driven but balanced, subtle bitterness maybe from the orange peel element, coriander is light and natural, maybe whole spices in this, its genuine in the glass, light lime and nuttiness as it warms, frothy feeling too and lively on the bubbles which is just right in this style, and it does remind me of some old world examples, i think a hard thing for an american brewery to emulate, but they do with this. my thirst was high, travel was long, stress was high, but this really did it for me. great stuff, impressively authentic, something to be proud of for them, could have had eight!

Had on tap. Cloudy yellow body with a plump white head with solid retention and spotted lacing. Yeast and spring time botanicals meet big citrus and wheat in the nose. Taste has the yeast but more airy with a good wheat finish more defined. Feel is lighter for style, but the yeast, wheat, and botanical textures are all there slowly taking turns in the lead
