Howler filled 7/15/18; drank 7/16/18 @ the Yarchives.
See-through dark orange appearance.
An even pour yielded a small white head; frothy lace.
Pine, caramel & tangerine notes in the nose.
Sticky medium mouthfeel.
Caramel & faint tangerine flavors; dry, bitter pine finish.
Old model IPA drudgery; I shan't have another.

Had on tap. Hard to tell this is an ipa with the prevalence of the malt. Has great hops in there, but feels like finding them is as easy as finding waldo. Bright and full, it just feels like a slightly hoppy lager. Meh

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that left some lacing. The scent and taste had a medicinal flare. The taste was bitter leaning. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's not high on my list and I think the malt profile should be altered as the galaxy, centennial and Amarillo hops should have knocked this one out of the park.
