22oz bottle, no apparent freshness date. Dark brown/near black body with a creamy tan head that holds good retention and eventually fades to a thin layer of foam. Citrus and pine mixes with roasted barley and dark chocolate for aroma. Bold flavors of dank & citric hop, pine, dark chocolate, roasted barley, char, anise, grain, and caramel. Fuller body, resinous and a bit chalky, bitter finish with pine and roast lingering. Recommendable beer here. I'll have to stop in at the brewery sometime and see what else they have to offer.
