I miss this beer. When i did the loveland brewery passport tour this beer is what stood out most of all, and why i kept coming back. Dark, bold, rich notes are complimented by creamy, bitter accents. You can taste love in every glass. This is what an oatmeal stout should be.

A really exceptional beer, served on nitro. Hard to believe these guys have only been open s few months, this is very refined. Took awhile to pour this one, as the nitrogen is very active. Thick milkshake creamy head on a shiny near black beer. I can smell coffee I swear, some really dark malt in this giving it that roasted bitter quality, even in the smell. I get a mild sweet toast, like a marshmallow, right in the center of the flavor, but it gives way to the ashen coffee notes in finish. Well rounded and very drinkable, even though it's a bit stronger on the alcohol for the style. For me the flavor is good but quite conventional, it's the mouthfeel that makes it. The ideal balance between sweet and bitter, and so thick but also dry do it finishes fast. I could have chilled here and had five or six of these babies. Good winter session beer, I think it would be a great candidate for a coffee edition as well, accentuate even more of those favors from the grains, very well done overall.
