Aroma: Sweet malt, black bread, mild cola note. Very sweet nose.
Appearance: Pitch black glass pours with an over-exuberant 4 finger tan head that lasts a long time and give curtains of sticky lacing on the glass.
Taste: Mild, malty with a slight stout sour note. Grainy, but very low flavor profile, almost watery, which is surprising given the looks. Might even go as far as "poundable", but it's fairly filling.
Mouthfeel: Fizzy, medium light body with high carbonation. Sticky smacking finish.
Overall: I was worried the high levels of foam were a sign something had gone off, but I think the can was just over-carbonated. Pretty clean beer, nothing really off, but not a lot to wow you either. Not a lot of coffee flavor, none really noted in with the roasted grains.
This is a well crafted beer. A nice clean stout/porter thirst quencher.
It's a shame we can't stop here.

Great roasty aroma, some coffee flavor, deep roast character, lasting mouth feel, which to me is essential for a good Porter. Masks alcohol well. Goes down very easily.

On-draught at the brewery.
"Foreign Extra Stout." 7% ABV.
Kisses of roast. Dry cocoa powder. Dark malt sweetness countered by burnt sugar bitterness. Caramel. A hint of gooey dark fruit. Balanced.
Gooey, gloppy, smooth, wet, well-carbonated, medium-bodied. Not oily, gushed, boozy, astringent, harsh, rough, or scratchy.
Drinkable and enjoyable, with a well disguised ABV.
C+ (3.15) / ABOVE AVERAGE
