This brew is a collaboration with Wild Gift Coffee! We blended a custom-roasted, cold-brewed coffee that was naturally processed from the Guji zone of Ethiopia into our Stout. Full body, roast, and chocolate tempered with a balanced addition of cold brew…enjoy!

A: Pours an opaque yet still clear jet black in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and faint dark cola brown + dark chestnut brown colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall sudsy foamy dark tan head that slowly reduces to a large patch of very thin film covering a little more than 85% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of roasted + dark + caramel + toasted malts with minimal amounts of sweetness. There are moderate aromas of dark roasted coffee (similar to an espresso) and a light amount of earthy hops.
T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of roasted + dark + caramel + toasted malts with minimal amounts of sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of dark roasted coffee (similar to an espresso). Finally there are light flavors of earthy + herbal hops. There is a moderate amount of lingering roasty bitterness in the finish.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable with a nice coffee presence.

A: The beer is essentially jet black in color. It poured with a short light beige head.
S: Moderate aromas of dark, roasted malts are present in the nose along with hints of coffee.
T: The taste follows the smell, mostly having flavors of dark and burnt malts along with some hints of coffee beans.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: Although the coffee isn't all that prevalent in this beer, it seems to help lighten things up a bit and make it easier to drink.
