Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a reddish amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades fast leaving a tiny bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a musty bready smell mixed with some aromas of slightly roasted pumpkin and some spice of cinnamon and nutmeg. There is a hint of a caramel and some brown sugar as well as a touch of cardamom.
Taste – The taste begins with a lightly toasted bready flavor mixed with a moderately pumpkin like taste as well as a little bit of cinnamon and nutmeg spice. Upfront there is only a light showing of sweetness, with some light hints of brown sugar and molasses. The sweetness gets stronger as the taste advances, and the roastiness gets lighter, creating sweeter less roasted pumpkin taste. At the same time the spice gets slightly stronger and there is a little bit of hay and herb that come at the end, leaving one with a somewhat medium roasted, and moderately sweet and spiced pumpkin taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium to slightly thinner with a carbonation level that is average. A slightly thicker body may have been better for to accentuate any pumpkin and roast and would have helped support the blend of flavors slightly better.
Overall –An OK pumpkin brew, but by no means a great pumpkin brew. It is on the lighter and thinner side in terms of thickness and chewiness, with a decent pumpkin taste. So if you are looking for a less sweet, but still approachable pumpkin flavored brew, this is a good go to.

Dark reddish amber with an off-white head. Thin, watery, skimpy—not the full-bodied ale it's claimed to be. On the plus side, it does, in fact, go easy on the hops, and it's not bitter. As a pumpkin ale, it's underwhelming.
