Notes from 5/29/2020.
Poured from a 12oz can into a Rastal nucleated Teku glass.
The body is almost black with 2 fingers of head. Retention is above average and there's some lacing.
The intensity of aroma is medium. There are notes of mostly artificial strawberry which reminds me of Carnation Instant Breakfast. I get a hint of vanilla but no chocolate.
The intensity of taste is medium-high. The flavor has mostly artificial strawberry. I tasted some chocolate on the first sip but it gets more difficult to taste it with each sip. The alcohol is present in the finish.
The feel is thick, syrupy, has low carbonation, and low astringency.
Overall, it's too artificial. A 12oz can is too much. I recommend splitting it with someone.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a thick looking, deep dark nearly pitch black color with a tan colored head of fizzy foam. The head fades very fast leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is massive of a chocolate and molasses smell mixed with some caramel sweetness and a big showing of roasted malt. There are some big smells of strawberry and vanilla in there as well which when mixed with a bit of a milk smell give a big ol’ Neapolitan ice cream candy like smell to the brew.
Taste – The taste begins super sweet with a big showing of chocolate and vanilla sweetness, which is all combined with a nice roasted malt flavor as well as a little bit of a strawberry sweetness. There is also a big showing of molasses and some dark fruit of cherry and plum. The dark fruits and strawberry get stronger and stronger as the taste moves forward. All the while a little bit of booziness and tons of brown sugar come to the tongue. All the increase in the sweet really comes on at the end, and ends up leaving one with a rather Neapolitan (fruit, vanilla, and chocolate) flavor that is a little bit on the cloying side to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is super thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is low. The feel is good for the super intense flavors of the brew and makes for a slow sipper.
Overall – A little too over the top in sweetness for me. It was an interesting try, but way too much for me. Give it a chance, and maybe split it with another.
