Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a very hazy dirty orange color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades rather fast leaving a tiny bit of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is light overall with a bit of a bready and fruity smell of tangerine and some light harvest fruits. Along with these smells are some notes of a herbal and grapefruit hop as well as a bit of a grainy smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a dry bready and grainy taste that is mixed with a tiny bit of tropical fruit sweetness and some dank hop tastes of an herbal and earthy nature. As the taste advances, the breadiness gives way to some more graininess, all while the sweet fades even more. At the end some hay and more hop comes to the tongue, leaving one with a rather dry and slightly dank (for a light brew) taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly thicker for the light style with a carbonation level that is low. A higher carbonation and a lower thickness may have been slightly better, but overall the feel was OK.
Overall – A rather decent, low cal/lower abv brew with a good sum of flavor.
