Mid-strength beer can be tasty; you just gotta add hops. An intense tropical aroma is followed by stone fruit and citrus flavours. It's full and balanced by malt sweetness and hop bitterness.

Purchased on draught at the Newstead Bar at Brisbane Airport in June 2024.
L: Bright golden yellow with a thin covering of head. A few desultory columns of bubbles work their way up the glass.
S: This one had a very neutral aroma - I could pick up perhaps the slightest note of fruity hops but nothing else.
T: Mildly bitter, mildly fruity, mildly biscuity malts. It's just pretty much mild all around.
M: Full and smooth with moderate carbonation and bite on the swallow.
O: This beer is certainly drinkable and very laid-back in its flavour and aroma. It's a definite step up from the macro mids readily available these days in Oz, but it's quite lacking in comparison to the better-built, more flavoursome craft mids available today.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
