Pau Hana (/Pow/-/Hanna/); Hawaiian for a time of relaxation, socializing with friends and family, and enjoyment, starts with the same great tart wheat base you've come to love, smoothed with lactose, and absolutely blown out with heaps of fresh mango, tangerine and passionfruit! Erupting with aromas straight from an island fruit cart, this is the perfect beer for the start of summer. Sweet mango, bright Tangerine and zingy passionfruit blend together into an ambrosia of tropical goodness that you'll want all summer long!

Hazy blonde, small off white head gone in a couple seconds, no lacing. Smells like those packs of mandarin orange slices you get as a kid, flavor is the same, overall very light. Light feel, refreshing. Good but not very expressive.

12oz. can served in a tulip. Pours a dull, burnt orange with a slight haze to the clarity and a loose, quarter inch, off-white head that immediately dissipates into a thin, tight band around the shoulders. Nose reveals lactose, citrus rind and a hint of tropical fruit. Taste is tart and bright - hints of soured passion fruit on a wheat base. It reminds me of a slightly tart/soured version of Sumol. Mouthfeel is light in body with a bright carbonation and a semi-dry finish. Overall, a decent kettle sour. Not complex but a pleasant introduction to the style.
