Pours very slowly from the tap but it leaves a rich foamy head. Served in a tulip glass, it still leaves some small blankets for lace. Neutral amber color and cloudy.
Prickly hop aroma -- a bit vegetal and piney. Low malt.
Quite dry but the pale malt base stands out and up to the earthy hop finish. The swallow is very bitter leaving an extraordinarily long aftertaste. It took me awhile to warm up to this beer. It's extreme in its astringent nature.
