Thanks for the can Kevin!

A- Tallboy pours into a chalice with a very hazy golden yellow body and a fluffy white cap. The head ascends to about an inch high with fairly good retention before dying out to a thick belt around the edges. Lacing starts with a sheet around the entire glass but only a few spots form beneath that.

S- The aroma strays towards the citrus fruits with hops dominating here. Reminiscent of orange juice, melon, mango, grapefruit peach and dank herbs. Not quite as pungent as some other modern IPAs but still a bright and pleasant blast of fresh hops.

T- The mandarins are extremely obvious here and compliment the hop bill very well. Bright, fresh satsuma juice with some tartness joins bitter pine resin, oranges, mango, melon, berries, dankness and floral hop tones. Just a hint of pale barley as the hops shine.

MF- Foamy and silky, creamy body with moderate thickness. Carbonation at a medium-high level and it ends with a fairly sharp citrus oil bitterness.

Well, another brewery to pay attention to and another refreshing, flavorful IPA out of New England. Bright oranges with plenty of hop contributions to make things more interesting.

Love the label art. Poured into a Sam Adams glass.

Pours a bit hazy and yellowish. Looks oily, but an interesting look.

Very interesting aroma. Fruit salad, lots of melon with a blast of citrus. Smells Ike a glass of OJ from concentrate.

Really great flavor. Very exotic- a lot of OJ and mandarin. Reminds me of and orange chicken dish, like I just got a bite of sautéed rind. Very cool. There's a touch of butteriness too, which makes the flavor rich.

I dig this beer. It finishes a bit oily and sticky, but it's nice and compatible with the flavors.

Really a wildly unusual IPA. Check it out if you want to try something new on the IPA front.

If fruit-rich and citrus-heavy IPAs are your thing then this is a must try. Man, this beer hit the part of my palate that processes fruit flavors like a fucking mallet crashing through drywall. As expected it pours a murky, hazy orange gold. Aroma is all pungent citrus with some acidic notes lingering in the background. Taste is mandarin orange, tangerine and guava. Hard to distinguish; I'll just call it a passion orange guava IPA. Nice bitterness towards the end. Juicy and soft feel throughout, perfectly carbonated. Well constructed beer that is all about the fruit.

16 oz. can dated 2/27/17

Pours foggy amber orange with a creamy white foam head. Smells like sweet mandarin oranges, mango, peach, grapefruit, toasted bready caramelized malt, with dank earthy herbal grass and floral resinous pine. Tastes like sweet mandarin orange, mango, peach, grapefruit, toasted bready caramelized malt, with dank earthy herbal grass and floral resinous pine. Feels medium-light bodied, creamy and smooth with moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice IPA with satsuma mandarins.
