Big, three finger off-white head, heavily dimpled surface becomes even more so as the head recedes, looks highly whipped up and agitated, strong lacing comes close to completely covering the glass above the liquid line. The strong haziness gives that liquid a translucent glow, a muddy mix of yellow, orange and mahogany red, easy to confuse the miniscule bubbles with the silt. Heavy nose of honey, apricot and peach purée, pine sap, black tea, charcoal, blood orange and dank herbal matter, letting it warm just makes it danker. Full-bodied, must give the carbonation credit, tries to convert those tiny bubbles into some sort of churn, ultimately failing. The citrus more sour here, tangerine, pink grapefruit, a little lime. Not a lot of pineapple but has a guava, papaya sort of bite, then nectarine and peach. More tar and tea leaf, noticeable drop in dankness, not that one would call it clean per se. Good amount of biscuit, pine and verging on savory garden herbs like sage, marjoram. Stays juicy with minimal dryness. Deserves credit for covering a lot of ground flavor-wise, yet it’s so ponderous had a tough time finishing the 16 ounce can.

Can. Pours hazy but not turbid or opaque. More of a dull orange color. I was expecting it to look different. Aroma is rather mild. Flavor isn’t too exciting either. It’s pretty generic and doesn’t offend but is way overpriced. Standard.

Poured from a 16oz can into a Speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a dark hazy orange with a full white head.

Aroma is sweet orange blossom honey malt with slight sweet citrus notes.

Taste is super intense lots of rich mango hoppy citrus.

So good.

A: The beer is very hazy amber yellow in color—too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of cantaloupe melons are present in the nose.
T: The taste has juicy flavors of both mangos and melons and has no apparent bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and quite juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of bitterness.
O: This beer drinks very easily considering its strength and does a very good job at masking any traces of underlying malts and alcohol.

8.5% NEDIPA, brewed with Citra, Amarillo, and Idaho 7 hops; 11/20/18 canning... Murky dark color, hazy but not quite opaque, with a finger or two of off-white foam on top... Rather and earthy and chewy for a New England-style DIPA, and despite the can referring to it as being a "juice bomb" I found it to be rather balanced between "west" and "east" coast stylings, with a pine resin element proportionate to the fruits, which were themselves suggestive of tropical fare like papaya, guava, and mango... Relatively full-bodied and fleshy of fruit, it had a super-deep softness and a somewhat tacky/shellacky finish... Decent, but not impressive...
