A: Pours a hazy straw color. Tall light tan head that's quite fizzy and dissipates fairly quickly as a result. No real sign of lacing either, appears completely still after a minute or so.
S: Wheaty for sure, right off the bat. Some grassiness and some spices, mainly white pepper and coriander I'd say?
T: Surprisingly sweet, at least initially. Tons of wheatiness everywhere. It is all-consuming. Some typical witbier spices, mainly coriander but I get grass, white pepper and some...earthiness I suppose? Especially on the back end. Lightly sulphury in the aftertaste.
M: Smooth, crisp, drying.
O: Big witbier with big witbier flavor. Instead of being light and summery it's quite bold with lots of strong flavors. The wheatiness is out of control (not in a bad way).

Pours a golden orange color with a 2F head in a Pilsner glass.
Aroma: sour at first, Brett-like, ,fruit, citrus, lemon, spice. More spice and citrus with warming.
Good bitterness.
Taste: excellent. More complex with itris, lemon, tropical fruit, earthy.
Overall: a rising star in the NE craft beer scene. Every beer I've tasted from their brewery is quite good. This has more character than most Wit Beers.

From the brewery: double wit brewed with spices. Lavender, citrus, pepper
Cloudy, dirty gold color. Good starting head but it settles quickly. No lace! Very unusual for a wheat beer.
Toasty aroma of darkened wheat toast.
Smells more malty than wheaty. Lightly roasted. Faint banana.
Definitive banana flavors with a decent alcohol presence. The swallow is refreshing although the aftertaste is short lived. Good body and lower carbonation. True to the style although probably the only thing that makes this a double wit is the elevated, but largely unnoticed, abv.

Look is an opaque dark gold. Pours a frothy white head that sticks around for a while.
Smell is not particularly strong, but contains hints of banana, papaya, wheat, resin, and clove. Individual notes are hard to distinguish from the mix, but it does not feel unbalanced. Clarity is the thing that is most wanting here.
Taste is banana and wheat forward with some mango mixed in. Bitterness is present throughout, but is more noticeable towards the end and really helps to offset the sweetness and bring things together.
Feel is smooth, thick, almost syrupy. Light carbonation, lacks some of the crispness I'd expect from a wit.
Overall, this is a solid and drinkable double wit. Even if it is not particularly memorable on its own, I could see this going real well with a meal to back it up.

Double wit. Bright golden yellow in color. Turbid in appearance. Lemon, orange peel, banana, cloves, white pepper, corriander and mango. Pleasant bitterness on the back end. Creamy feel. Lower carb. Eh. A lot going on here. Needs a bit of streamlining.
