The combination doesn't work. Don't get this again.

Cloudy with a darker gold color. Small head which diminishes quickly to rim bubbles. Few streaks for lace.
Sweet and tart equally to the nose. I get notes of blackberry and honey.
The taste is more tart than the smell but it could be because it's far more dry. There's a subtle apple and pear touch to the brew without any sweetness. Good body with an elevated carbonation level. The finish is soft leaving a modest aftertaste. While sour, this beer is subtle, easy-to-drink, and bitter enough to give good overall balance. This is one of the better soured ales I've had.

Golden orange in color. Hazy in appearance. Papaya, tangerine, orange, lime and pineapple. A bit funky and dry with a nicely balanced bitter finish. Not too sweet. Pretty good.

Pours a translucent golden hue. The brett character in this is more prominent as it warms, but the citrusy hops are the character that play the main role. I wish the brett funk did have a major role instead of a small cameo, but I did enjoy this beer a lot.
