Canned 9/19/18
Light fizzy head, decent lacing and retention but not much head, hazy orange honey colour

Nose citrus, orange rind, grassy little herbal and spicy, hint of malt

Taste nice herbal spicy hops, grassy and a but if citrus and genetic fruit, stone fruit maybe, sweet toasty malts, fair bitterness, drier finish

Mouth is med to lighter bod, decent fizzy carb

Overall pretty nice, standard apa

16oz can, served in a snifter glass. Pours a darker medium orange body, one finger white head, fair retention, lots of lacing. Smell is caramel, toffee, a fair bit of resin, but for the most part, fairly bland on the aroma even as it warms. The Magnum hops don't seem to add much aromatics, though this isn't too malty by any means. Flavour is a nice combination of caramel and toffee with a resinous bitterness on the backend, more floral and grassy than anything else. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, moderately bitter, crisp with a good carbonation behind it. Overall, a decent wet hopped ale, although I think the Magnum seems to be more of a bittering hop given the relative lack of aromatics behind it.

Golden orange in color. Somewhat hazy in appearance. Caramel, earthy red malt and some pine bitterness. Nicely balanced. Creamy feel. Really good wet hop harvest ale.

I have often brewed a fall harvest ale from hops that I grow in my yard. This is what I was always striving to create. Excellent fall beer that marries the concept of fresh hops and malt

16 oz. can dated 09/19/17

Pours golden amber with a frothy off-white foam head. Smells like beautiful berries, orange citrus, grapefruit, citrus marmalade, apple skin, grape, toasted biscuity malts, some spice, with floral herbal earthy pine. Tastes like berries, orange citrus, grapefruit, citrus marmalade, apple skin, mild grape, toasted biscuity malts, some spice, with floral herbal earthy pine. Feels medium-light bodied, slick with smooth moderate low carbonation. Overall a nice harvest ale.
