This beer drinks crisp and clean, with a delicate floral nose and crisp malt bite. A blend of Noble hops bolster flavors of straw and biscuit, backed by a herbaceous finish. Drinks dry and slightly bitter. Named to honor the alt-rock jams of Apollo Sunshine, a Boston-based group that disbanded in 2010.

Frothy head. Webby lace throughout the tasting. Straw to gold color. Clear.
Richer pale malt with nearly no graininess common to the German pilsners. Light but floral hop in the background.
Good blend of malt and hop, which is more pronounced on the tongue. Excellent body and carbonation for the style. Refreshing and drinkable. There's a touch of berry sweetness initially. Light bread flavors with a white pepper bitterness in the swallow. Moderate length aftertaste. Overall, this is one of the best German Pilsner I've had.

Can date smudged
Pours a foamy frothy large almost 2 finger head with med retention, spotty lacing, mostly clear slight hazed med golden pilsner color
Nose starts with a nice grainy-sweet cereal straw pilsner malt, cereal grain just a faint hint of corn, noble floral herbal hops, nice clean pilsner
Taste brings the noble hops out front, herbal floral and a bit spicy, a little earthy as well, some noble and some English-like earthy herbal characters, more pilsner malts with grainy-sweet malts, cereal grain, little cracker, soft crisp lager, med bitterness, dry finish with a big crisp hop bitterness, hops get really spicy
Mouth is med bod, med-higher foamy carb
Overall not bad, not sure I like the earthy-herbal and spicy hop characters that much, and they drown out the malt, good lager character, crisp bitterness, so not bad in the end

Light, straw yellow body; lively carbonation; thick, creamy white head; small globs of foam speckling the glass. Aroma exudes notes of grass, mild malt presence, and some funk. Light grain malt flavor with a somewhat spicy hop presence; fair amount of hop bitterness; faint trace of biscuit or toasted grain. Medium-heavy body; crisp with a very faint pungency.
A nice, tasty and relatively complex beer. It is not too heavy in body, has some interesting flavors, and drinks easily.

Poured a cloudy golden color with a 2F head in a Pilsner glass.
Traditional Pilsner malt – lager aroma.
Bready, biscuity MF.
Dry, Crisp, MF with a moderately bitter finish.
Excellent approach to the style. Another enjoyable beer by the Cambridge brewery.

Clear and straw yellow aggressive pour fades a touch to fast but does leave decent lacing. The smell is floral and spicy and drinks clean and crisp. A well done pils crushable and glad I grabbed a 4 pack

Canned 1/18/18; This beer was canned 2 months ago and, despite that, I think it is the best craft beer version of a German pils that I have ever had; getting lots of white grape/Nelson aromas and flavors; can is labeled as having all noble hops which blows my mind
