A double dry-hopped IPA brewed 100% with Denali. This beer is hazy, hoppy, and dripping with flavors of peach, mango, and pineapple. As the cool kids say these days, this thing is one helluva juice bomb. Named after the national debate surrounding a great, high, and wondrous mountain.

Canned 10/20/19
Pours a large foamy dense creamy 2 finger head with great retention, soapy lacing, very hazy cloudy orange color
Nose big pineapple, juicy pineapple and candied caramelized pineapple, some citrus orange cream tangerine like, but then big stone fruit, peachy, with mild doughy creamy base malt, flaked proteins, little pithy, touch of grapefruit
Taste brings mild sweet grainy doughy malt, flaked proteins and creamy, quite creamy but no lactose as far as I can tell, tons of fruit juicy hops though, loads of pineapple up front, like mai tai and pineapple upsidedown cake, caramelized candied pineapple, mild citrus again with generic citrus and some pithy notes, some stone fruit as well, little peachy little apricot, light bitterness, no real alcohol
Mouth is med bod but very creamy soft juicy like, medium-higher carb, no alcohol
Overall solid DDH NEIPA, loads of fresh juicy hops, mostly pineapple all over, nice base malt, a soft juicy enjoyable beer

1/2/ can date. I bought it fresh. It’s been hanging out in my cellar for a month.
Second night in a row drinking a DDH Denali beer. I really like this hop,
Different than the same ol’ citra, simcoe, galaxy IPAs..
Cloudy honey color 4F head over the Spielgelau glass like the Skill shot IPA I drank night also a Denali brew.
Very fragrant, more earthy than Skill Shot from Down the Road brewing located near Lamplighter. Citrus, but not your usual citrus aroma. Sweet, peach, pear at first.
Smooth almost sticky MF.
Great fruit, pear, citrus, very distinctive taste.
Biting, hoppy finish.
Excellent beer. It’s great that Lamplighter is going in this direction.

On tap at the brewery.
A solid IPA with some interesting new hops (Denali). Tropical pineapple and citrus flavor profile, with a bit of pine resin in the end.
Feels more like a classic NE IPA, with enough bitterness and malt to give some depth to it, not just some fluffy hop juice.
Nice!

Canned ~6 weeks ago.
L — Slightly hazy golden straw body with a 2.5-finger fluffy white head produced with moderate pour. Great retention and lacing. Lots of sediment at the bottom of the can
S — Watermelon, honeydew melon, peach, orange, clementine, tangerine, perfumey floral
T — Juicy citrus flesh, semi-sweet bready malts, watermelon Jolly Rancher, honey, black tea. Some weird ethanol-like fusels in the back, which detract some from the flavors.
F — Medium mouthfeel, medium carb. Semi-fluffy and low in bitterness, save for a tea-like drying astringency
O -- First Denali-hopped IPA for me, reminds me a lot of El Dorado hops. Nice melon character

A: Copper, slightly opaque. Sip of Sunshineesque
S: Bright and sweet. Not bursting with aroma the but smell that is there is lovely
T: Hop Candy. Pineapple. Bright, slightly sticky, sweet. Caramel malt. Whereas galaxy hops remind me of a jug of dole pineapple juice, this is more like biting a fresh pineapple. Not as concentrated and thick. Groovin' on it.
F: Sticky, coating. Not terribly thick but who said IPA's have to be.
O: Really nice. Tastes more like a Vermont style IPA than the more modern NE IPA. Reminds me of something Fiddlehead or Lawson's would make. I don't know if I'd go out of my way to get it, but definitely one of the better Lamplighter IPA's I've had. As long as the preorder and grab when you can thing sticks around I'll pick up another 4 pack when it's released again.
