Honalee is a New England-style IPA brewed with Slovenian-grown Styrian Dragon and Styrian Wolf hops. Known for their fruit-forward and floral aromas, these varieties deliver tropical notes of ripe mango and elderflower, making for a delightfully juicy and refreshing pint. Named after the mythical land featured in Peter, Paul, and Mary’s song, Puff the Magic Dragon. Keep cold and enjoy fresh!

Had a 16oz can poured into a belgian tulip glass. Honalee pours a cloudy yellow with a generous head of rocky foam and long lasting lacing. Aroma is orange, pineapple and floral pine. Taste is creamsicle orange and ripe mango that progresses to lemon-crème. Finish is floral and hoppy, but not very dry. Mouthfeel is med-light for the style with moderate carbonation. A unique and fun beer, cheers!

Great, now the song is stuck in my head. Interesting new hops to try. Canned 7/20/20
Pours a nice frothy creamy almost 2 finger head with med retention, sticky lacing, slightly hazy med golden-orange color
Nose is unique and a little weird, a mix of green grassy hop notes, a little pine sap resin, and then stone fruit and some citrus, a touch of melon rind maybe, little dank as well, mild grainy malt base
Taste starts with more of the fruit but like a sweetened or candied version of the fruit, stone fruit and some citrus, apricot and nectarine mostly, a touch more of the melon rind, but like preserves of them, then some grainy sweet malt, little doughy cracker, hint of alcohol flavor, starts with low bitterness but finishes closer to medium, then comes some of the pine sap resin dankness from the hops, with green rind like candy fruit
Mouth is med bod, a little sticky syrupy like, hint of alcohol warmth, med to a little higher foamy carb
Overall an interesting and unique beer, but not really one I'd buy again

Great beer. Grapefruit, citrus, melon, tropical fruit.
Very dry hoppy finish.
The Slovenian Strygian Dragon and Wolf hops give fruity, hoppy beer.

A: The beer is very hazy dark yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing coating the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of bell pepper, cantaloupe melon, and strawberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste has moderate flavors of bell pepper, honeydew melon and mangos along with hints of herbal hops. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that the Stryian hop varieties used in this New England IPA produced and interesting combination of fruity and herbal/peppery aromas and flavors.

Pours a golden orange color that has a bit more clarity than the norm for the style. More slightly cloudy than hazy with a well retaining layer of frothy foam head.
The nose is juicy and fruity with notes of pineapple, mango, guava and candies oranges. The malt aroma is bready and honey like and supported by emerging herbal hops aromatics, floral and a touch of dank.
Juicy throughout with significant tropical fruit sweetness to start off with. Flavors of mango, pineapple and a burst of tangerine amidst a solid doughy malt backbone. Floral hops flavors throughout, there is little bitterness save for a developing resiny flavor in the finish that balances things nicely.
Medium bodied with a mostly soft and smooth mouthfeel, yet with a touch of crispness. The carbonation is moderate and on par.
My second taste from this brewery, I’m so far impressed. Tasty and well done NEIPA.

Nice lasting head with some broad streaks for lace. Hazy, light gold color.
Mild malt with a weedy hop nose.
Very dry with an ample hop presence. Decent body, higher carbonation. Long, bitter aftertaste. Overall, this is a straight up hop delivery system.
