Great name, Jagged little pils, only better pils name was Mama's little yellow pils. NO can date

Pours a large foamy frothy 1+ finger head with moderate retention, soapy lacing, crystal clear golden pilsner color

Nose brings nice pilsner malts, grainy-sweet and mild doughy malt, touch of corn, nice but mild noble floral hops

Taste brings grainy malts out front, a little fruity winey thing going on as well, maybe oxidation? or oak? or sulfate notes, a little sulfury note I think, mild grainy pilsner malts, corn, DMS, med-light bitterness up front with mild herbal floral hops, getting to a med bitterness on teh finish with a drier finish

Mouth is med o lighter bod, med-higher carb

Overall nose was good, but there was something off in the taste, not just the usual corn you get from pilsner malts, so something off, which is unusual for Lamplighter. The bitterness was also a bit low for a Czech pils. If it wasn't for that it would be great.

Note: I just read the can and it's fermented in Oak fusion spirals, which explains the strange oaky character that I couldn't tell what it was, it seems a little out of place in this beer

Served with no head and no resulting lace. Mild hazy to the green, light gold color.

More barley malt than hop to the nose. I also pick up more graininess than I'd expect from the style.

The flavor is soft but full. The pale, pilsen malt dominates the flavor in the mouth. The noble hops kick in as a balance on the swallow. The aftertaste is also well balanced. Fuller than most pils with a muted effervescence.

The brewery calls this a Czech Pils, but I agree with the person who added this one as a German Pilsner.

Can. Beautiful CLEAR gold with lasting head and lace. Earthy noble aroma with some crackery malts. Lightly toasted honey sweetness with some toasted cereal and medium light grainy herbal earthy finish. Light body lively carb but not fizzy TOTALLY FUCKING EXCELLENT. NE IPAs have turned me into a pilsner drinker.

Poured from a can, fresh from the brewery. Label says it's a Czech style pilsner fermented in oak foeders.

Look is a slightly hazy gold, with a fluffy white head that shortly recedes to a fine ring.
Smell and taste are very nice. Herbal, earthy spicy noble hops, biscuit cracker malt, a bit of bready yeast. Definitely has a good amount of hops, with a faint earthy woody taste in the end.
Feels fuller body than I expected. It has a decent bitterness, a bit slick with the hops. A lingering hop flavor.

Overall very good, a tasty beer worth drinking. I would have preferred a bit lighter and crisper for the style, but no complaints about this beer.
