Rushmore is an American Strong Ale that’s bright copper in color and rich with bold flavors of toffee, plum, and dark caramel. Fuggle hops serve a dual purpose in this brew, contributing delicate floral and earthy aromas while complementing malt character with an assertive bitterness.

No can date
Pours a light fizzy head that fades quickly, very little lacing decent legs, mostly clear sediment laden amber sight rosy colour
Nose sweet golden malts, little candy sweet and slight toasty caramel, big perfumey alcohol without being overbearing, and nice floral flowery phenols, potpourri, light ester fruits, candy caramel toffee
Taste sweet candy malts, golden sweet blond malts with light toasty caramel toffee, into fruity esters with plum and a little pear, mote phenols with light spices and quite floral again as all as light perfumey alcohol, a medium light bitterness kicks in with herbal earthy floral hops, the bitterness level is ok for the style but for some reason seems as little clashing here, slight drier but still sticky finish
Mouth is fuller bod, little syrupy sweet, medium carb, a little alcohol warmth
Overall not bad, some interesting components like perfumey alcohol without too much burn, nice esters and phenols, bitterness clashes a bit for some reason, but a nice beer to drink in cooler weather
