Dad Bod is a full bodied IPA brewed in honor of Father’s Day and dry hopped with Eureka and Simcoe. Combining characteristics from several IPA traditions, this ale is hazy like a New England-style IPA, piney like a West Coast IPA, and sports a snappy bitterness in the classic American IPA tradition. Bright citrus flavors lead to earthy and herbal undertones, resulting in a unique bouquet of pomelo, mint, and resiny pine. Brewed in honor of dads everywhere (and their bods).

Pours a hazy golden with excellent head retention. Pineapple and papaya on the nose. Some good pineapple flavor, some strawberry candy as well. Some peppery bitterness that prevents this from being a sweet affair, in a good way. Pretty pleasant to drink though there are some biting green hop edges to it.

Cloudy straw to gold color. Moderate head which leaves a wide steak and then multiple small bubbles on the glass.
Oddly, my first impression of the smell is of pepperoni -- it's oily and spicy. More hop than malt to the nose. Some wet basement (I.e. dank) smells.
The carbonation is low which balances the three neutral body. Brief pale malt start which is overwhelmed by the straight-up black pepper hop bitterness. The aftertaste is game but lasts a long time.

Pours an opaque glowing yellow with a tight head. Smell is of rather muted melon with a hint of citrus, that doesn't prepare you for the cascade of flavors to come: some melon still, but lots more citrus along with a melange of underripe fruit and finishing with a firm bitterness. The brewer's description is pretty accurate - a mash-up of different sub-styles of IPA that work together surprisingly well.
