Cloudy, vibrant orange-bronze color with two fingers of airy, sand-colored head. Modest soapy lacing.
Light overripe fruit (orange and papaya?), as well as some rye spiciness, in the relatively faint aroma.
Peppery rye is the dominant flavor layered over a balance of the same light fruit from the nose and a light earthy, tea-like bitterness. (Maybe a hint of buttered popcorn in the aftertaste as well, but that’s very mild.)
Lightly creamy, on the thin side of medium bodied, with just a touch of prickly carbonation.
An easy-drinking, enjoyable brew with a nice rye addition.
