A cider-beer hybrid brewed with 275 gallons of fresh-pressed honeycrisp cider from friends at Carlson Orchards (Harvard, MA). Inspired by our favorite fall flavors, this caramel-forward ale is crisp, semi-dry, and undeniably autumnal.

Taste like halfway between an ale and a cider, so if that sounds good you should try it

Pours a creamy frothy 1 finger off-white head with med retention, touch of lacing, semi hazy amber to copper color
Nose starts with big bright apples, apple cider and like I just cut into a fresh Honeycrisp apple, mild sweet toasted reddish malt under that, fair caramel and a bit of honey, mild spices include a vanilla spice
Taste brings more tart but crisp apple cider and fresh Honeycrisp apple flesh, right into that tartness and crispness, soft apple cider, a bit of fermented fruit alcohol flavor with mild phenol notes, more spices again but not real spices just perceived spices from the phenols, fair caramel and toasted reddish malt, a hint of sweet bread crust, mild bitterness, dry crisp but tart and mild flemmy finish
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, slightly chewy like, med fizzy effervescent carb, light alcohol flavor and warmth
Overall pretty good, basically what I would expect from a beer like this, I was worried the malt would be too present and clash with the crisp tart apple, or it would be all candy apple flavors, but it was more like the opposite of that, bright fresh tart crisp apple, light background malt and caramel, little tartness and flemmy notes but not sour or icky, although the alcohol flavor and warmth came through a bit more than exected

Notes of toasty caramel malts, slight honey, toffee, fresh fruity red apple, a hint of hops, medium bodied, slick and smooth with some caramel apple notes
