This luscious style is the richest of modern Ales, requiring intensity of time, care, and ingredients to produce. This project first fermented in stainless before aging 2 years in second-use rum barrels, developing a silky body and decadent notes of plum, amaretto, and maple. Named in memory of our sweetest brewery pup.

The appearance is like mud…literally—cloudy (not dark) brown and light cannot pass. Tony initial head that completely flattened leaving no lacing whatsoever.
This smells like chocolate covered cherries to me, but far less sweet. The sugar is replaced with alcohol to the nose.
Rich body enhanced by the lower carbonation. The taste is boozy (and here, a bit sweet). Again the taste is dominated by the flavor of chocolate with cherries. The swallow is warming and the aftertaste is similar to an after dinner cordial.
