Karmin is our take on a Franconian-Style Amber Lager, brewed with Maine-grown Vienna, Caramel, and Red malts. Traditionally produced in Bavaria, this ruby-hued beer is exceptionally drinkable, characterized by notes of toasted biscuit and light caramel. German noble hops provide balance with earthy and delicate bitterness.

Pours mostly clear amber red orange with a dense creamy beige off-white colored foam head. Smells like sweet melon, fresh lemony orange citrus, toasted biscuity malts, nutty bread crust, crackers, light caramel, honey, and floral earthy herbal grass. Tastes real nice and balanced, zesty noble hops pairing with the rich red malts, notes of nutty melanoidin brown bread crust, toasted biscuit, crackers, amber honey, light caramel, toffee, some melon, lemony orange citrus, a hint of spice, and floral earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels thick medium bodied, crisp, creamy and slick with smooth moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice amber lager.
