White clouded, straw colored beer. Minor head (especially for the style) that leaves no lasting lace.
I pickup an unusual smell of cooked pepperoni, reminds me of cold pizza. After that I get wet cardboard. I don’t get any wheat or banana or clove. Odd.
The taste has more wet cardboard. I can’t help but wonder if I’ve been served a bad batch. I will try this again if available and re-rate. Until then, this one of the few clear misses from Lamplighter. (Later, I can tease out a touch of wheat and a stronger than expected hop.)
