Light haze to the pale gold color. Moderate starting head which settles to predominately small rim bubbles. A couple of small spots remain on the glass.
Spicy sage or thyme-like aroma. Nearly dry to the nose. Some licorice. Attractive and unusual.
Dry pale malt start is taken over by the aforementioned spices and black pepper. Decent body for a Golden Ale. Higher carbonation. The finish is biting but not overly bitter—it’s like a caraway seed in a slice of bread.
