Amber color and clear. Moderate lasting head that never completely settles out. Larger chunky spots remain on the glass.
Earthy hop aroma to start. Lighter hop bitterness behind this.
Brief but full flavor toasted malt starts the taste. The bittering never overwhelms but it is the strongest element throughout the rest of the tasting. There's some alcohol warmth in the swallow as well as a straw berry-like sweetness in the swallow. This one of their lower carbonated beers. Decent body. Long straight-up bitter aftertaste.
