Gold to amber color and clear. Decent head which never dissipates completely. Downward streaks form after each sip--attractive.
Quite earthy nose which covers up any malt smells that may be present. Little else to note.
The taste does have a dry caramel malt start. The body is neutral while the carbonation is elevated and draws out a straight-up bittering hop. Overall, rather conventional with the flavors fitting the most basic expectations of a traditional American IPA.
