This Hazy Double IPA is the bigger, bolder cousin of our flagship, Birds of a Feather. Brewed and dry-hopped with luxuriously juicy American hops, this anniversary special is rich in notes of tropical fruit, complemented by a refreshingly smooth mouthfeel.

Hazy, dirty gold. Moderate head which sticks around. There’s an initial ring of lace followed by several smaller spots on the glass.
Earthy with grapefruit aroma. A bit muddy smell wise.
There’s an interesting blend of grapefruit rind bitterness and sweet plum on the tongue. Amply carbonated, this has a neutral to weak body. This enhances the black pepper bitterness in the swallow. Longer aftertaste.

Pours a golden hazy without the turbidity. Immaculate head retention. The head retention is highly impressive. Some pineapple on the nose which continues on the palate. Some mild bitterness with some medicinal fusel heat. It's really smooth. Really solid DIPA.
