Fantastic hazy NE IPA from Cambridge’s own Lamplighter. This beer is kind of a perfect NE IPA - hazy, citrus’y (grapefruit yin patricular) with woody and piney notes, a slight bitter finish, a delightfully round nose, the color is a warm hazy wheat with a 3/4 inch head that dissipates. This is everything I want in a beer. Next time, I’ll buy a four-pack.
This is the official marketing blurb from their site:
Greenhouse is a Hazy IPA dry hopped with Idaho 7, Amarillo, and Cashmere. Zesty citrus notes reminiscent of juicy tangerine and pomelo are balanced by subtle notes of pine and fresh grown herbs, all balanced by a lush, velvety mouthfeel. Keep cold and enjoy fresh.
