Deep dark brown where no light passes through the glass. Beige head -- small and short lasting. Some decent streaks on the glass.
Mild semisweet chocolate and coffee with cream aroma.
This could pass as a Porter because it isn't strongly bitter from burnt malts. Instead, I pick up sweeter mocha with chocolate nib overtones. The body is thinner, like Irish dry stouts. The carbonation is much higher than the the Irish versions.
Overall, the flavor carries this beer. Definitely worth trying.
