Poured moderately hard from a bottle into a small tulip glass, forming a litt bit of head before soon fading to a ring of lacing. Smell is somewhat boozy, with apple brandy being the most notable. While cold, the apple brandy takes center stage in flavor, but it's well blended and not too boozy tasting despite the 14% ABV. As it warms, the apple brandy isn't as forward and bourbon comes to the front. Very dark brown and opaque color. Slightly thick and velvety smooth feel, pretty much no carbonation. Delicious liquor aged stout.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a coal black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored, somewhat long-lasting head. Not a whole lot of lacing, though.
S: A very enticing aroma of booze, chocolate, apples, malt, wood, and coffee.
T: Tasted of bit of coffee (a surprisingly subtle presence), a lot of booze (brandy and rum; not overdone, but certainly present), a fair amount of malt (present throughout, though not a big factor), some light apple notes and a good amount of chocolate as well. This is an aggressive, complex, and incredibly tasty flavor.
F: A below average amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Full-bodied.
O: An exceptionally likable stout. Drinkable.
