Billed on the menu as an English-American barleywine, and that fits the bill, honestly. It sits somewhere in between without wanting to commit, but either as a result of that or for other reasons, it is more nondescript in the flavor profile than on the nose. Also, lower ABV than most barleywine, and perhaps underattenuated a little.
