This was yet another disappointing beer from a brewery that is near my house.
The nose seemed oxidized, had a very strong wet carboard smell to it. The hops were very lacking for this style.
Carbonation was lacking and poured with very little head and no bubbles in the glass, this is not true to style at all.
The color of the beer was also a very strange color for the style and overall it was one of the least pleasant beers I have had all year.

Bird Dog pours a brownish color, with a very small, long lasting head. Spicy aroma, sweet, hints of candy. Flavor is creamy, with a small spice note, some hop notes, and hints of rye. Good body and feel. Overall, a very tasty, balanced, and well built beer.
