#1720 - Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)…
L- Pitch black, even held up by a halogen bulb ne'er a photon gets through it. Pours with a 2mm mid-tan cap. ps 10mins later that has cleared to a thin ring of bubbles on the side.
S- That coffee/cocoa aspect... more coffee I think.
T- Toasty, major coffee with hints of smoke, reminds me of log ashes in a fireplace the morning after a good fire. There is a suggestion of solid ABV% too, 'that zing' on the palate, that combines well with decent hopping.
F- Pungent, it certainly has some richness but isn't risking morphing into a sweet facet yet. Overall it's pretty pungent so a slip-sipping' beer for me. The beer feels as if it has the beginnings a viscosity, IME this usually results from dissolved 'sugars'.
O- It's a very big roasty/toasty stout(?). I'd guess the ABV% as 8%. It's ok, it has a statement flavour but as it's warming somewhat now it's becoming a bit sweeter than I typically choose to buy.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the can lable to see what I missed! ==> No surprises, no adjuncts, no added coffee, all preditable/trad ingredients (that's a +ve for me by the way!).
440ml can £3.49 BB: 25/11/2021 Bought from BeersOfEurope, King's Lynn/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
