440ml can from Curious Liquids (£7.75):
A bright, golden amber that's lightly hazed with a 1cm, foamy white head & a few bubbles at the edges along with plenty fine ones rising to the surface. It's a strong, sweet nose with lots of zesty notes, stone fruits & resinous pine with some grapefruit then quite a bit of alcohol at the end. Sticky sweet tasting with stone fruits, pine, grapefruit & citrus all coming through strong, some light caramel malts & a warming alcohol finish. Full bodied & very boozy, with a lot of alcohol that could have been better hidden but it was pleasant enough. It was smooth, warming & softly carbonated with a lingering pine bitterness at the end too; not their best strong beer but not too bad either.
