I had this on tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas
The color is a clear golden with 2 fingers of white head with fine bead and decent head retention. The aroma is light with a mild hay-like or husky dry earthy english hop scent with mild malt and lacks any real yeast aroma there is a light caramel odor. The feel is dry and bitter with low sweetness and low carbonation with moderate astringency and mild hop texture in general..lacks depth of malt to balance with very dry finish.
The taste has a good flavor of hops up front with slight woody character but little malt -malt is somewhat low in the taste in general with dry body and a gentle spiced yeast compliment in the background with peppery dry finish. Overall this is just ok for an English bitter from a French brewer, not something I would order again.
