Pours a dark copper colour with a thin white head that quickly dissipates. The nose leads with a sweet maltiness and some breadiness. Not much else that I could decipher. The taste again starts off with a sweet malt that finishes a hit on the dry and crisp side. There is a slight earthy hop note that adds just enough bitterness to balance out the beer. The mouthfeel is in the medium range with a well balanced carbonation that doesn't cut straight through the maltiness but does allow for a crisp finish in the feel. A nice little beer to bridge the Fall and Winter seasons.
