Tone Def Double IPA is a collaboration with our friends at Boombox Brewing. This NE style DIPA has an addition of 500lbs of blood orange purée and 2L of fresh blood orange zest on top of an already massive amount of hops. We added two huge dry hop additions of Citra, Amarillo and Azacca hops which amplified the citrus juiciness of the aroma and flavour. This beer is nothing short of getting hit in the face with an orange.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy orangey color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dank notes with some citrusy notes, some floral undertones with blood orange coming out more clearly than expected. Taste is a mix of floral hoppy undertones with some blood orange notes, some citrusy notes with some faint residual sugar notes also perceptible. Enjoyable mix between fruits and hoppy notes.

A: Pours a muddy golden with a thick white head and nice lacing.
S: A nice berry fruit nose.
T: The orange is hidden but there lots of hops.
F: Medium body with a nice smooth finish.
O: A dam nice N/E IPA.

Pours a dull orange, quite opaque with a few chunks. Not much of anything on the nose. Flavour explosion with orange as the dominant element. Quite smooth and on the lower end of carbonation. Very sweet and mouth paying, finish is on the dry side.
