Got this one from rutger this past summer. Cheers!
From a 16oz can into a snifter
APPEARANCE: Pours a one finger, medium looking, slightly foamy white head with good retention. Cloudy amber orange in color, completely opaque, with higher levels of carbonation for the style. Head slowly fades to a full wisp and clings to the glass. A splotchy wisp remains until the end leaving lots of decent lacing down the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Lots of juicy aromas with melon, passion fruit, mango, pineapple and light caramel notes. Tropical fruit and peach as well. Very fruity stuff.
TASTE: Delicious. Lots of juicy flavors. Tropical fruit with peach, passion fruit and mango up front. A bit of alcohol at the swallow with caramel sweetness too. Big and lingering finish of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, peach and light bitterness and alcohol as well. Delicious.
PALATE: Fuller body and medium levels of carbonation. Weighty for sure, creamy on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes a touch dry. No heat or bitterness lingers. Heavy and smooth.
OVERALL: This is excellent. Very juicy and no real bitterness or booze. The nose could be a touch bolder perhaps, but all the elements are there. Absolutely loved this one and would love to drink it by the bucket. Thanks again, rutger! This was a beauty.
