Brewed primarily with Equinox. Bravo and Cluster round things out.

Poured from an undated bottle into the test glass
A - Excellent clarity, wonderful light copper color, active carbonation feeds a near perfect cap
S - Some notes of pine, orange candy, warm french bread, a bit of grassy element, and Earthy notes from the Cluster hops maybe.
T - Biscuit spread with orange marmalade, pine tar, sulfured and dried pine apple slice, and some pepper notes
M - Delightful feel, starts a bit sharp, and a bitter wave rides through, then semi sweet malt, and finally a dry sharp finish backed by that initial bitterness. Very good
O - A wonderful old school pale ale, with that pine-tropics balance. the fell is excellent and the body just right
Well done

On-tap 5/2/2017 at Flynn’s in Mansfield, MA, served in a tapered pint glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains earthy hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of caramel and fruity citrus. Then a strong earthy hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, decent kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a while.

Great mouth feel and that's about it. 2 finger foam that dissipates rapidly. Amber color. Light bitterness that does not linger either.

My original tasting was in Dec, 2016. I retested this beer from a bottle on Feb 8, 2019. I had to lower the "look" score because half of the brew spewed forth from the bottle all over my kitchen. Obviously, this version was way over carbonated. The original review is below:

Gold color leaning toward amber. Light haze. Huge bottle poured head which settles slowly in a dome. Small spots for lace.

Grapefruit and pine aromas from what I assume to be dry hopping.

The taste reminds me of my old days as a home brewer, meaning there's a lot of yeast in the flavor. It is particularly acute in the swallow and aftertaste. Both the hop and the malt are in the background.

This beer poured with a nice one finger head that hangs out for a bit and fades. Some good size chunks of sediment at the bottom of the glass - as it is unfiltered. The beer is orange in color, looks like a DIPA, but logged in at a 5.8 ABV. The smell is citrus and the taste is balanced with citrus and pine. Very nice mouth feel. An excellent beer.

Picked this up at the brewery today. Wanted to wait for them to bottle this and that was this morning.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a crystal clear golden hue with a fat two finger white head that fades to leave a dense creamy blanket.

S - Aromas of BIG Equinox hops, almost a bit of musty notes to the citrus peel, lightly grassy, light pith, some nice dank resins.

T - Taste is similiar to the nose. Definitely loads of Equinox here (which makes sense seeing how that was the primary hop used). Nice citrus peel and pith to go along with the grassy and lightly spicy hops. Quite dank and resinous too.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, sharp, crisp.

O - Overall another solid offering from Dave at Flying Dreams. Really like the use of Equinox here, same with the Bravo and Cluster. Nice malt backbone too to balance everything else.

Draft. Sample pour. Poured a hazy orange color. Quite the hoppy nose. Fruity and citrusy hops. Also the hops are of dried grass. Really neutral malt in the nose; just a light wisp of sweetness. Flavor is quite dry and hoppy. Grassy and piney but also it settles to a fruity hop flavor as well. Malt is again, dry and it works pretty well with the hop profile. Lighter bodied. Bitter. A pretty tasty beer. Wish I had a little more.
