Fairly clear, dull copper beneath a creamy head that leaves a bulky lacework in its wake.
Aroma is rum-infused tropical fruit, i.e., pineapple, coconut, honeydew; sweet, resin.
Flavors are much of the same as the aroma foreshadowed, overly sweet tropical fruit; however, the pine resin attempts to cut the sweetness. Boozy; the young alcohol character lingers.
Mouthfeel is nothing offensive, but it does run a bit slick.
Happy to try a Double IPA from a new Worcester brewery. This one is a bit too aggressive, but shows promise.

Picked up at the brewery release. Shared with JLindros.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nicer clear honey hue with a thin wispy head that fades slowly.
S - Aromas of light grassy floral hops, generic fruits, light malts. Pleasant. Light candied notes.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, nice bubblegum notes, huge. Good floral notes, lightly grassy, good candied peel. Light alcohol.
M - Mouthfeel is rather lowly carbonated, bit sticky.
O - Overall this is a solid beer from them. Nice grassy hops going on.

Light fizzy head, light lacing, little legs, semi hazy auburn copper iced tea like color.
Nose Big fruity generic fruit blend, candied tree fruit, apricot like stone fruit, little citrus, mild grassy floral, sweet candy malts, little syrupy perhaps.
Taste brings big sweet malts, little syrupy but not much, nice big spicy hops, chewy hops, a little candied stone fruit apricot, bubblegum, some generic fruit, touch tropical citrus, some warning almost tingly booze, sticky sweet finish, more candied generic fruit and some booze, spicy earthy super bitter hops.
Mouth is med to heavier bod, little syrup light carb.
Overall not too bad but eh, def could have been better, light carb, syrupy, hops have some promise but don't live up to what it should.

Microbrew sample. Was definitely quite hoppy. My memory doesn't serve me many specifics but it was a fine enough imperial IPA. I got citrus and some fruits and earth with some noticeable sweetness in both hop and malt. Some heat on the finish and a lot of bitterness. Generic but decent.
