Had this on tap at the brewery. Clear, light straw color, and minimal head. Smells like dew on grass first thing in the morning and a hint of lemon. Taste is tart and lemony, with a hint of cucumber. It feels smooth with a low level of carbonation, which I felt went well with the taste. Overall it was very refreshing!

Pours a light fizzy head that fades quickly, no real lacing, a hint of chill haze golden straw blond color.

Nose very tart and fruity, a lot of lemonade, and a little lemony fruity pebbles cereal, toasted cereal grains and dough notes, a hint of salt and a little floral flowery note.

Taste brings tart fruity flavors again, a little lemonade, more fruity almost fruity pebbles but not quite that fruity, more cereal grain and dough notes but not much, maybe a wheat with hint of creamy lactic funk, a little sticky flemmy acidity, touch of generic citrus and citric acid kinda juice, touch of salt on the back end.

Mouth is lighter bod, a touch creamy, a bit flat on the carbonation unfortunately.

Overall not bad, a little flat on the carbonation which I think would have brought out more of the good characters of teh beer, but enjoyable nonetheless, maybe a bit more of everything would have made it a bit better as well, although it's quite a refreshing summer beer.

Picked up at the brewery.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a crystal clear straw hue with a one finger head that faded very slowly to leave nice lacing and a thin creamy blanket. Incredibly impressive here as the acidity in gose typically prevent a head from lasting more than a few fleeting moments. This though manages to hang around indefinitely. Certainly unexpected.

S - Aromas of very nice lemon notes, bright, juicy. Not really zesty as it has more of a 'lemonade' aroma. Very nice creamy wheat. Same goes for the nice lactic twang. Super straight forward.

T - Taste is similar to the nose. Big wheat notes, far bigger than the nose. The lemon is very nice, just as it was on the smell. Bright citrus, juicy and tart. The salt level is nice. It's not so much discernible on the flavour, however, where it is most noticeable is on the lips, like a light sea mist. Almost dries them out a little, which makes you want to go for another sip.

M - Mouthfeel nicely carbonated, crisp, clean, and refreshing.

O - Overall this was a nicely done gose. Straight forward and true to the style this delivers precisely what one could ask for. For me, personally, the wheat was just a bit too aggressive. The appearance though, I don't think I have ever had a gose with the head retention this one had. Super impressive.
