Draft at rail trail
Nice rich creamy darker head fades semi slowly nice lacing, super dark black beer

Nose nice mocha roast, fresh roasted coffee, coffee grinds, little nutty, roasted malt, plenty of dark chocolate, cocoa, fluffy nougat marshmallow, hint caramel

Taste bitter slight acrid roast, fresh roasted coffee grinds and bitter espresso, little char, very dry wish it was a bit sweeter to balance, little super dark cocoa, hint nougat, dry bitter acrid roasty finish

Mouth is med to lighter bod, decent carb

Overall def needs some malt sweetness to balance the big roasted acrid notes, nice coffee though

Picked a bottle of this up at the brewery.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice dark, dark brown almost black with a thin half a finger mocha head that fades to leave really, really light lacing and thin wisps.

S - Aromas of light roasted malts, nice caramel, very nice rich roasty coffee notes. Fresh grinds, little nutty, almost cookie like as well. Flashes of cocoa as well. Very aromatic.

T - Taste is similar to the nose. Nice dry chalky cocoa powder. Some bitterness going on, nice dark roasted malts, coffee is pleasant and prominent. Nice lingering roast along with some acridness. There was some solid light caramelness on the finish before the bitterness came back in and swept it away.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, bright, crisp. Body is light. A lot more carbonation than I'm used to for the style.

O - Overall this was an alright Irish Dry Stout. Certainly an easy drinking stout, which is what they were going for.
